Color:
- Color starts for me at the observer and his subjective experience with it
- The eye perceives information of a material that is reflecting light-energy and interferes it to the brain where it is compared with former experiences
- The used material acts with its attitudes such as reflection, absorption or transparancy as a medium for light, the emited color spectrum gives the perceived color

Abstraction:
- it helps me to support a certain impression and to show its pure idea
- it provides me a tool to create recognizable and memorable pieces of art
